The shop, explained

The kit

Four-tier stack of trio planters. Twelve five-litre positions. The planter is the pot. Soil and open seeds.

The planter is the pot

Each growing position is five litres. You do not drop a nursery pot into a decorative shell. One saucer sits under the whole stack, not under each pot. Soil and open seeds — no locked hydroponic pods. That is the system, and it is why Coco Soil is sized as one bag, one tier.

What twelve positions do

Twelve positions will not feed a household. They will grow the herbs and leaves you otherwise buy every week, in the space of a stack, from seed you can buy again. The Four by Four is the larger kit. This is the first one.
