Why glassine
Glassine is a thin, supercalendered paper: fibres beaten and pressed until the sheet is smooth, semi-transparent, and resistant to grease. Conservators know it as interleaving; horticulture knows it as the traditional seed envelope. It is not a plastic bag. Fine seed does not slip the sheet the way it slips a coarse kraft fold, and you can see that the pack is not empty.
Trade notes say glassine is pH-near-neutral and biodegradable as paper. It is not a waterproof vault. Keep packs dry. THH's pack is a labelled culinary pouch of a listed variety, not a breeding pollination bag and not an archival negative sleeve — those are other jobs glassine has been asked to do, and they are not this SKU.

Open seed
The seed is not a locked pod. It will grow in a Homestead Hub planter and it will grow in any honest pot. That is doctrine, not a slogan. Germination is a publish gate on the pack, not a promise invented on this page.
