The Four by Four

come with the stack — every listed variety, enough to fill every cell. Every cell drains through the saucer, so sow the sixteen and you are already growing.

  1. Step 1 · Unbox

    What’s in the box

    Four quad planters, one saucer, four 5 L bags of Coco Soil, sixteen seed packs, one 100 ml Growth Formula, a setup guide and a display card.

  2. Step 2 · Place

    Stack it

    Set the saucer flat where the stack will live.

    Turn each tier 45° on the one below, so each cup sits between the cups beneath it. Stack snug.

  3. Step 3 · Fill

    Fill it

    One bag of Coco Soil per tier, to the lip, pressed level. Bottom tier first.

  4. Step 4 · Sow

    Sow it

    Colour is the map: each seed pack’s label colour matches its group (leaves, herbs, roots, microgreens).

    Leaves and herbs go 1 cm deep, roots 2 cm. Microgreens are scattered on the surface.

  5. Step 5 · Feed

    Water and feed

    Water from the top tier until it runs through to the saucer, and check daily.

    Feed with Growth Formula: two pumps per litre of water. One bottle comes in the box.

  6. Step 6 · Grow

    Let it grow

    Give it six to eight hours of light. Microgreens are ready in days, herbs in weeks.

  7. Step 7 · Light

    Short on light?

    The Halo Grow Lamp sits over the stack on a timer. Bend the neck so the ring sits above the canopy.

  8. Step 8 · Pick

    Harvest

    Cut what you cook with. Every crop has its own grow page on HubWik, with when and how to pick it.
